Kakure Japanese Cuisine

‘Kakure’ is a serene new Japanese restaurant and Ginza-style cocktail and whisky bar named after its secluded location on the mezzanine floor of Prince’s Building. In Japanese, ‘Kakure’ means ‘present (in form) yet absent (from sight), and this exclusive hideaway in the heart of Central is a hidden treasure worth the effort of hunting down for Edomae-style sushi and sashimi, teppanyaki and a wide range of Japanese delights. Fresh seafood is flown daily from Japan to the sushi bar; prized Hida Wagyu is a speciality of the teppanyaki grill; and gracious Ginza-style service is a highlight of the bar, featuring over 120 rare & vintage whiskies and signature Asian cocktails.
